Japanese artist TIDE (Tatsuhiro Ide) continues his exploration of duality with the elevated Nite Nite bronze sculpture created in collaboration with Avant Arte. The brand new piece options his recurring feline character nestled between a pair of pillows, considering mattress time. Whereas the character has a ‘cute’, cartoon-like design, the temper is darker —defiant and unapproachable.
Flowing out of TIDE’s monochromatic observe as a means of exploring the interaction between the common shades, Nite Nite is obtainable in each black and white editions. The artist’s new bronze sculpture follows his Present vinyl artwork toy launched by Isetan Tokyo Kaiho-ku (July 2020)
Editions of 50, the Nite Nite bronze sculpture (11.8″ x 10.2″ x 10.6″) in each black and white finishes can be accessible from Avant Arte on Thursday (3.3) at 6 AM PST for $4,574.
